Sage Grouse, the iconic bird of the west, are more abundant in Wyoming than any other state. Sage Grouse hunting is limited by a short season in September, but has a very high success rate. Population estimates are over 600k Greater Sage Grouse in Wyoming. Our goal on these hunts is to harvest a large male Sage Grouse for a beautiful mount. Male Sage Grouse are 27-30inches in length including the tail and weigh 4-7lbs making this bird the largest of the North American Grouse Species.
